Alpena, Alcona, and Montgomery counties have been recognized with essential funding under Phase 39 and Phase ARPAR of the Emergency Food and Shelter Program (EFSP), reflecting a national commitment of $530 million to support emergency aid. Alpena County alone has been awarded $10,794 and $33,363, respectively, earmarked to enhance local emergency food, shelter, and utility support initiatives.
